Top iOS Film & TV Apps in Ireland Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the Film & Television category on iOS in Ireland saw varied performance among top apps according to data from Sensor Tower.

myODEON exhibited fluctuating download numbers, peaking at approximately 497 downloads at the start of April and experiencing a dip to 199 downloads in mid-May. By the end of June, downloads rose again to around 462. The app maintained a relatively stable number of weekly active users, ranging from 4.6K to 5.8K throughout the quarter.

TodayTix – Broadway Tickets had steady download figures, with a slight increase from 143 downloads at the start of April to 165 by mid-June. Weekly active users also remained consistent, hovering around 700 throughout the quarter.

Cineworld Cinemas demonstrated a gradual increase in downloads, starting at 100 and reaching 171 by the end of June. Active users showed a slight upward trend, increasing from 1.1K to 1.2K over the same period.

Vue Entertainment experienced a decrease in downloads from 113 at the beginning of April to a low of 61 in mid-May, before recovering slightly to 114 by the end of June. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 215 and ending at 226.

Finally, Eye Cinema had minimal download activity, with numbers mostly in single digits, though there was a slight increase to 15 downloads at the beginning of June.
